Life Under the Monster Regime.

I haven't posted anything here in several years-- YEARS! So I thought I'd update. Nov.8th, 2016 a Cheeto Faced Racist Weasel was "elected" to be Commander in Chief. His name is Trump. Or Drumpf. Or Dumpy. Or fat-assed hate monger with a cheeto colored face, or any number of other descriptions of the overblown man sized baby at the helm. His election has begotten a bonafide resistance movement of which I am a part. Tomorrow is "A Day Without Women" where women refuse to work either paid or non-paid jobs, wear red in solidarity and otherwise protest the current state of being in this country of ours.

No mail is shitty

For a mail artist, this snow is the pits. I haven't had mail delivered since last Thursday. The neighborhood is accessible-- precariously though, but still accessible. Each day that the mail doesn't come puts me further and further in the hole. Dammit all. When will the truck come back????

Happy Day of the Dead

Here nor there

It's so infrequent that I update this blog of mine. It's one of several I've made at alternative sources to Live Journal. My Live Journal blog is my primary blog, and even that one I'm not updating daily anymore. I'm entered in the LJ Idol contest so I weekly post my entry there and another with the link to vote for it.
It's 5:28pm and the mail hasn't been delivered yet. I think the mail man is taking an extra day off for President's Day, which was YESTERDAY! It annoys me when the mail delivery is late, and paltry. I bet I get one piece of stupid advertising and that will be it. Hate it when that happens. Even catalogs are preferable.
I've got banana bread in the oven and it's smelling good.

Almost October

Both August and September have been extremely rainy here in Baltimore. Today the sun finally came out but it just made things even steamier. I'm really looking forward to a cool sunny day in October. There has to be one!

My baby dog, Lupé! Isn't she just the sweetest little girl doggie in the world? I think so.

It rained 5 out of the 8 days we were there, so it was very grey and atmospheric on the lake. We stayed indoors and read books.

Need to make up for lost sleep (probably not until tonight though)

Need to get back into LONG daily walks. My walks have been shortened considerably because Parker (my dog) can't take it anymore. They're just too short to do me any good.

With Jon home for awhile, I hope to get back into longer walks. Good for my head.
